May 3, Singaporean Aunties are amusing.

Midget ran away last night - I have no idea how he managed to climb down 3 storeys and escape into the outside world. Hopefully he made it back to the water and is sleeping with the fishes now.
May 3 seems to be all about 3's - Just look at James' new record!
Went home after studying in the library today and did I mention how satisfyingly miserable the year 1s' look? They don't need to get a clue, but they do need to get something else - better dress sense. Oh and they need to go back to primary school, 85% of them don't even know silence is golden in the library. One more thing. Not being racist or anything but. . . why are there so many gweilos in NYP? And I'm talking about the China people. On the way home, I was enjoying my sleep when I was interrupted by an annoying little Indian brat who kept kicking my legs. It's as though it's some kinda hidden national sport or something. Now usually I'm nice to kids, but then again that's when I'm awake. And I swear to god, the China bugger behind me was literally shouting into his phone. I'll bet that if you ask him why he's shouting, he'll just say it's casual conversation - in his native tongue. Look what I caught on the way home:
If you can't see it, that lady just went on a Grand Theft Auto. On Fairprice trolleys. Our dear old old birds (in Hokkien: Lao Jiao) never fail to amuse me. They have such a. . . unique culture (e.g. beating a seat before sitting on it), it'd be sad to see it fade away one day. Or maybe, hopefully, some of the people from our generation will continue their age - old traditions and in the worst case scenario, SHB (Singapore Heritage Board) will probably start some 'Cultural and Racial Appreciation Project', which in short form coincidentally spells CRAP, in a valiant attempt to salvage a culture way past it's expiry date.PHRASE OF THE DAY"You know what I like about rich people? . . . Nothing." - Ryan AtwoodFor those who try to act sophisticated, try not to get yourself suffocated.Zeke
